The goal of this site is to complement the bibliographies on archaic and classical Greek song by Douglas E. Gerber. Gerber has made an extensive and annotated overview of publications between 1920 and 1993 in:

Our aim is to provide a bibliography that contains relevant publications on archaic and classical Greek song (including publications on lyric, iambus and elegy) especially those later than 1993. The list also includes publications on the tragic and comic chorus. The bibliography follows Gerber's division into genres and ancient poets, but one can also use the 'search' function in the left sidebar in order to find publications.
